Whatever you look for in a holiday, you will undoubtedly find it in Crete, the largest island in Greece. Crete is the ultimate combination of all. There, you can admire the remnants of brilliant civilizations, explore glorious beaches, impressive mountainscapes, fertile valleys and steep gorges.

DAY 1

Arrival at the Athens airport. Private transfer to your hotel. The rest of the day is free to explore the city and sample its diverse restaurants and nightlife. Overnight in Athens.

DAY 2

Transfer to the airport after breakfast. Flight to Chania, Crete. Arrive in Crete and tour - transfer to your hotel. This is a way to maximize the experience, the orientation tour upon arrival , stop for pictures to enjoy the panoramic view and a short walking guided tour of the old town to spot the highlights. Arrival at the hotel and evening at leisure.  

DAY 3

Elafonisi beach or private boat trip from Kissamos . Alternatively we can hiek the Samaria gorge. Overnight stay at Chania.  

DAY 4

Morning  pick up and tour transfer to Heraklion via Rethymnon ( a short walking tour in the old town) and visit the palace of Knossos close to Heraklion. Overnight stay at Heraklion, evening at leisure. 

DAY 5

Lasithi plateau and the eastern part of Crete. Morning pick up and drive towards the plateau. We will visit a ceramic workshop, an olive oil farm, picturesque villages along the way. (optional hike to the Cave of Zeus can be included – Lsssithi is the birthplace of Zeus..)  Lunch at a local taverna, drive back to the hotel and overnight stay at Heraklion. 

DAY 6

Morning pick up and visit of the museum of Heraklion, then drive to Phaistos to explore the second largest palace of Crete end up at Matala for your lunch. Drive back to Heraklion overnight in Heraklion 

DAY 7

Morning transfer to catch the ferry for Santorini. Arrival on the beautiful volcanic island and transfer to the hotel. Overnight stay in Santorini

DAY 8

Private  wine tour and wine tasting, evening at leisure. Overnight stay in Santorini 

DAY 9

Transfer to the airport to catch the flight back to Athens
